Handwound Telecaster Vintage 50's "Texas Twang" Alnico V Pickup Set

Migas Touch is a custom shop pickup maker. We specialize in Fender Stratocaster and Telecaster pickups.

Our vintage 50's Texas Twang pickups are wax potted to avoid microphonic noises and squeals, but still remain true to the original tones and characteristics and make them lively with more clarity and bite. The bridge is south up and the neck is north up and is reverse wound to reduce the noise when mixing pickups. Both are Alnico V magnets. We have spent years testing different wire and wire makers and only use the finest quality we have found along with period matching bobbins and push back leads to insure nothing but the best sounding pickups. We use .42 Heavy Formvar wire for the Bridge and .43 Heavy Formvar for the neck for that true Telecaster Twang.

Each hand-wound set is signed, numbered, and dated. 100% Made in the USA.
