Rory Gallagher Tribute Stratocaster Custom Shop Hand Wound Pickups

Rory Gallagher Tribute '61 Stratocaster Pickup Set.  This is a tribute to Rory Gallaghers Famous '61 Strat, we used early 60's spec bobbins, hand beveled the poles to match his heavily beveled ones which gives them that incredible warm tone, using .42 heavy formvar wire and over winding them to achieve a those unmistakable tones Rory was known for.  We lacquer dip all of our bobbins for durability then lacquer pot them to avoid microphonic noises and squeals. All of our pickups are hand wound and scatterwound.  We have spent a great amount of time and effort testing wires, magnets, and bobbins from various sources to product the best quality pickup that we can. Each of our hand-wound sets are signed and dated. 100% made in the USA..
