Collection: Vintage Classics Collection
The Vintage Classics Collection represents the next evolution of the Hand Wound Migas Touch Pickups. Each pickup is built using the same hand-built bobbins, the same premium USA-made wire, and the same vintage-style push-back lead wires that define my hand-wound originals.
The only difference is the winding process. Instead of being wound entirely by hand, each pickup is wound individually on the Tone Winder CNC Winding Machine, precision-engineered in Italy. Over the past two years, I have dedicated countless hours to developing and refining this process to ensure it faithfully captures the character, consistency, and tonal qualities of my hand-wound pickups.
The Tone Winder gives me complete control over every aspect of the winding process while producing one pickup at a time—just as I would at my winding bench. Every critical parameter is carefully programmed and monitored, including the exact number of turns, adjustable wire tension, scatter-winding pattern, and winding speed. This level of precision allows me to reproduce my winding techniques with exceptional accuracy while maintaining complete control over every pickup that leaves my shop.
