Migas Touch Pickups presents 1961 Stratocaster Pickups. Most notably used by George Harrison with his famous Rocky guitar.
I was talking with a friend recently who has been chasing this specific tone so I will be shipping him this first set. George turned his sonic blue 1961 Strat into "Rocky" which had a crazy psychedelic paint job. Set it up with heavier strings I believe to be 12-52 raised up the bridge, used a glass slide and his fingers not a pick to pull those voice like tones out of the guitar. Not saying you can do the same because I do not know what amp or if he used any pedals but Rocky was a stock 1961 Strat and these pickups are made to era specs. Black top and bottom flatwork, staggered alnico 5 poles, .42 heavy formvar wire with reading right around 6 ohms.
