I have a client who is an older gentleman and ordered a set of my Vintage 59 Pickups. He has a 70's Japanese Strat and was wanting to change out the pickups and wiring. Because he is not comfortable soldering he was looking at a solderless wiring kit and sent me the link to see if it would work with my pickups. I was not impressed with the pots or oak grigsby switch. I told him I could use my vintage style wiring kit and even wire everything for him so all he had to do was mount it in his pickguard and I would walk him through soldering just the 2 wires for the input jack, body and bridge grounds. My wiring kit uses CTS pots, CRL 5 way switch, .047 orange drop cap and vintage cloth push back wire. He was very happy to hear that and here is the finished set up I made for him.
