Gibson Les Paul 2016 Premium Roasted Birdseye Maple Top Honeyburst Limited Run

This is a truly amazing 2016 Gibson Les Paul Standard limited run model less than 200 and in near mint condition, 100% original with a torrefied figured Birdseye Maple top, PAF pickup pair, and Grover locking tuners, complete with the original hardshell case. Finished in a dark two-tone nitro lacquer gloss that Gibson has codified as part of the "Honey Burst" family, the finish highlights the prominent Birdseye figuring extending evenly across the torrefied top. A solid mahogany body and one-piece neck with an Ironwood fingerboard round out the essential tonewoods.

The original 57 Classic PAF humbucker pair at the heart of this model translates the acoustic properties of the instrument into a range of lively, classic Gibson tonalities. Whether you seek warm, silky neck pickup girth or a bridge pickup with some push and attitude, this Les Paul is a great candidate for covering a wide range of genres. Each selection on the three-way pickup selector toggle yields a distinct sound, and the 57 Classic Plus in the bridge position is slightly overwound for increased output and rich midrange. This Les Paul weighs 9lbs 8oz.

The mahogany neck has a modestly slender C profile carve with round shoulders and a hair more heft as you travel up the fretboard, and is straight with the truss free. The frets are flawless on the Ironwood fingerboard, a very resilient and dense tonewood with a snappy note attack akin to ebony. The guitar plays easily up the 24 3/4" scale, and the nut measures 1 11/16" in width. The headstock features Grover Rotomatic locking tuning machines, ensuring optimal tuning stability.

All of the electronics function as intended, with the Gibson 57 Classic PAFs retaining their PAF decals and dated model stickers on the pickup baseplates. The harness is hand-wired from the factory with Gibson-embossed Alpha pots and premium vintage style tone caps. The chrome hardware is positively gleaming, and the original plastic parts are near mint. Cosmetic wear on the high gloss nitro lacquer Honey Burst finish is absolutely magnificent and the neck profile is flawless.

The original brown Gibson USA hardshell case is included and equally as clean as the guitar.
